Migrants’ Lives and Hopes

(CC) Image:vivevans/FlickrMigrants’ Rights Scotland is building a portfolio of case stories of families and individuals whose lives have been affected by the recent UK Home Office changes in family immigration rules. (The full detail of those have been covered here and in the media.)  We know real lives in Scotland have been severely affected, hopes have been completely dashed and families’ prospects curtailed against their fundamental human rights.

Our portfolio will not only evidence the outcome of heavy-handed policymaking. We hope it will support a legal case to uphold human rights as the basis of immigration policy.

We would like to draw your attention to some of those real life stories which will be published here as a series.
