Scottish Refugee Policy Forum (SRPF) Conference: “A fairer Scotland for Asylum Seekers and Refugees in a time of Austerity”, 25 Feb 2012, Glasgow

The Scottish Refugee Policy Forum (SRPF) is inviting you to its next conference on “A Fairer Scotland for Asylum Seekers and Refugees in a time of Austerity”. The SRPF is an umbrella organisation led by refugees and asylum seekers which represents refugee and asylum organisations from across Glasgow.

Date: Saturday, 25th February 2012

Time: 11am – 4pm

Venue: Kinning Park Complex, 43 Cornwall Street, Glasgow G41 1BA

The aim of the conference is to improve policies according to refugees needs by developing policy proposals on key issues and making positive changes and to ensure that refugees’ needs are taken into account when developing policies.

The event will consist of a morning and an afternoon session, both with speakers followed by a Q&A session and workshops. Refreshments and interpreters will be provided.There will also be a crèche.
